How Banyan Kitchen Began
When we opened our first location at 4655 Executive Dr in San Diego, we had one goal: to create a place where people could enjoy simple, high-quality meals in a friendly space. We weren’t trying to be fancy—we just wanted to serve food we’d be proud to eat ourselves.

At Banyan Kitchen, we serve gourmet breakfast, salads, sandwiches, small plates, and drinks that work for many diets. You'll find vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options made with care. Everything is made to order, so you get fresh food the way you want it.
Two Cafés, One Mission
After our first spot took off, we opened a second café at 4365 Executive Dr, just down the street. Both kitchens share the same mission: good food, served in a clean, open space where you feel welcome. Order at the counter, take a seat, and let us do the rest.
